A team of artists from the United States, Russia, China, Great Britain, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium came together in Bruges to create a piece of art, that also can be considered as a technical masterpiece. Young and old can be fascinated by the magic and imagination of the fairy tales of the brothers Grimm, brought to life in tons of sand. These interactive indoor and outdoor spectacle will bring thousands families to Bruges.

The organizer of this festival also organizes the snow- and ice sculpture festival. The same concept, different materials. This ice sculpture festival starts the 21st November 2008 till Sunday 11th January 2009 at the Station Square in Bruges.
