Sinds 1198 vormt Erik Sluys een vast duo met zijn vrouw, de pianiste Katsura Mizumoto, waarmee hij al over heel de wereld concerteerde. Zij brengen een gipsy getint programma, met onder meer werk van Achron en Enescu.
